Veteran - now Living
How do I find a veteran or old friend? 1.Our online resources only include the casualty database from Korea. That is Killed in

Reunions How do I find reunion groups?
Make sure to look at our reunions section. Also make sure to visit the Army Home Page, vet locator section for an extensive listing.
Write the natl magazines for veterans, and call your local veterans groups for schedules. Make sure to send us your reunion information for posting. Mail us at address top of page.

Cemetaries
How do I find a burial site? The American Battle Monuments Commission, in Washington DC maintains many military cemetaries in the
United States and overseas. The Veterans Administration handles the balance of burial locations for veterans in the United States. Contact your reunion association for a roster of current and
deceased members. This is the first step in finding burial site of veteran. Contact Next of Kin for details.

Military Records
How do I get my Military Records? Find your DD Form 214. Then use Form 180 (Request for Military Records).
Send this form to the record unit listed on the back of the form.
If you have lost your DD Form 214 but know your Service Number, the Form 180 will do. Make sure to call your local court house or VA Dept to see if they have your DD Form 214, however.

Can't Find A Veteran
I can't seem to find the person for whom I am looking? First: go to the search form, type in last name only for starters.
Don't add in other information.Second: choose the Table or Form reply. Push button and wait, please. Third: Choose the person from hyperlinks. Print page by using your browser command.

Not on Database
Why is this person not on database? If you have searched our casualty database using the steps outlined, and no match is made, make
sure again to use only a last name or variations of that name in your search.If the person was not declared KIA or MIA declared dead then he will not be on the UCF - KIA/MIA database. There
are missing records and typographical errors, on the official records. We are working to correct errors with input from veterans, friends, and family.. Back to top of page |

Adding Name to List
How do I add a name to your list? Send us copies of death notification, government insurance policies, or other official correspondence.
We will make an entry on our update list (off line) and also forward all information to the DIOR and branch of service. Our additions come from official sources and we don't add on persons

Funding How is the KWP funded?
The Korean War Project is funding by individual donations and Memberships, and by a small number of corporate sponsors. The Project if a tax exempt 501(c)(3)
