Comments: I am the neighbor and friend of Philetus "Pete" George Lapham who is going to be turning 80 this summer. I have enjoyed listinging to him recount some of his exploits from his military years and have benefited greatly from his wisdom and friendship. "Pete" is anything but computer literate so I am reaching out on his behalf. I would appreciate any contact information or memories of his comrades that I could share with him.
Thank You
James P. Sine

Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew a Corporal James F. Perry from Rochester New York. He was a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne, from 1950-1955. I do know that one of his duty stations was Okinowa. This is all that I know right now, my mother is searching through old papers of his to determine other information. My Father died 11SEP1988 from Mesothelioma. I am the eighth of his ten children and would love to speak to anyone who knew him back then. He was a phenomenal Father and Grandfather. I appreciate any information! Thank you all, your service to our country can never be repaid.

Comments: My late father served with the 11th airborne. I only want to know about him and what he was like. I never got the chance to really know him. The short time I had him only made me want to know more about him. the army will not release any records on my father. We have requested several times. if you have an idea on how we can get these records, that would be helpful. i am the eldest daughter of his 5 children. Thank you.
