Robert Costello

Comments: Looking for anyone who may have known my father. Robert Costello was in occupied Japan after WWII and was called back for the Korean Conflict. At one time he served with the 32nd Queen's own infantry. He was a corporal and a battery aid man. He fought with someone named Kenneth Hotopp of Chicago and also a Lt. John B. Haberer (I have a picture from a newspaper of the three in Korea). He was featured in the June 2nd, 1951 edition of the Pacific Stars and Stripes as "Sgt. Painless Costello" giving an injection to a superior officer. Unfortunately, his war memerobilia, including paperwork, were discarded many years ago and I do not even know his unit.

Comments: Am looking for buddy confirmation of action in Feb 1952, bunker in Devil's Punchbowl where a Chinese grenade blew me out of bunker, I reached back,got BAR and shot Chinese and saved my buddies. I need name of medic and whereabouts of Floyd Spencer and others in bunker to help me get Purple Heart I turned down. My buds were smart enough to take theirs then.

Comments: Looking for other member of 32nd Regimen Company B that was in Panama in 1956, My father was Billy B. Nance he passed away in 1992. My father and I watched a movie that he was in I think the name of it was Naked City and then later changed to Naked and the Dead.. it was filmed with some soliders of Company B marching down a hill and they where sitting up tents.
