Comments: Nov 1952 thru Nov 1954. 32nd Regiment 7th Division Love Company Pork Chop Hill. Was called "Thom" by everyone. I Remember Joseph Yankel, from Ottowa, Ill , Jesse Stokes, Wilbur Tumblesome, Sgt. Lawson, Edward Trebling (sp)(deceased), Pat Pasqualli (sp) . I also remember Sgt. Mack who tatooed TRUE LOVE across the knuckles of my hands. Would like to hear from anyone from the Love Compa ny. Correction for Robert L Perry

Comments: I need to correct a posting I made earlier and request information about Robert L Perry. He was wounded near Umji-chon on 12 Feb 1953, and was awarded the Bronze Star. I do remember him speaking of his Sgt., Chester Lyons, who I noticed in the gravesite locator died several years ago. If anyone remembers my father, I would appreciate a message back, since my information of him is quite limited.

Comments: My father was in the 32nd Inf Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was wounded on Feb/28/1953. For his actions, he received a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for valor. He passed away on 30 November 2002, and was recently interred at Arlington National Cemetary.

Comments: HE WAS THE UNCLE I NEVER GOT TO KNOW, I WAS BORN IN 1950 AND WAS ONLY 3 AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH. MY FAMILY FOUND HIS LETTERS AND PURPLE HEART, I READ HIS LETTERS AND CRIED. I ONLY THOUGHT I KNEW WHAT A HERO WAS, UNTIL I READ THOSE LETTERS OF A 21YEAR OLD WAITING TO COME HOME. MY ONE WISH IS TO BE ABLE TO FIND ALL THE PURPLE HEARTS LOST IN ATTICS, DISPLAY THEM WITH HONOR, AND A MESSAGE THAT READS THANK YOU AND WELCOME HOME. Seargent Robert Branch - Chosin

Comments: I knew Robert Branch as a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas and could not get Robert to talk very much about Korea. I know he was at Chosin Reservois when the Chinese invaded and he retired as a seargeant (Msgt?). I am very greatful to men like Robert for their sacrifice during all our wars. Comments: My father, Jack Newton, served in B co.,from 4/51-2/52, when he was wounded. He passed away 2 years ago and I am trying to reconstruct his service record, which was destroyed in the now infamous fire.

Jesse Navarro, 31st or 32d InfRegt East of Chosen, Korea

Comments: Looking for anyone who knew my older brother Jesse Navarro, (Pfc or Cpl), landed in Inchon, wounded and medevaced to Japan. Returned to Korea and joined Task Force McNeal (later Task Force Faith) unit overrun, was wounded, escaped on frozen reservoir to Marine lines and medevac'd by Marines. After rehab, sent to 2d ID. Left Korea in ?, 1951. Would like to hear from anyone who may have known him. He is 72, still alive and kicking but has poor memory of unit or personnel. Would love to get him with some old buddies or I at least would like to know more about his unit and his experiences.

Edward James Monahan - Pork Chop Hill

Comments: Looking for anyone who was with or knew my dad. I have unit flag: skull & cross bones at the top it says buccaneers and at the bottom it says 32nd infantry, he had his teeth knocked out while engaged in hand to hand combat. Later went to ft.benning,Ga., where he taught self defense to officers. If you know him PLEASE HELP. thanks
