Korea War Friends

Comments: I would like to hear from anyone who served in Co A 32nd Inf Regt. 7th Inf Div in Korea in l950 and l95l. Ted, I got wounded on 20 Sep 1950 in a rice paddy in the middle of nowhere, The only building I seen was a mud hut with a straw roof. There was a medical jeep there, he bandaged my arm and then took me to Inchon Marine base hospital ,so it couldnt have been far from inchon. I think we were between Inchon and Suwan on the way to seoul.

Comments: My grandfather Domenic Lombardi was in the Korean War. I would like to dedicate this note to him saying he's the best grandfather someone could ever have. Finding uncle's friend

Comments: I am looking for any of my uncles friends or any information about him. His name was Richard "Dick" Peinado and all I know is that he was in 32 INF, RGT 7 and he died on 10/24/52 or thereabouts. My dad told me he died at the battle for triangle hill, but I'm not sure. There are about 60 detailed letters with all kinds of facts and names he sent home. We found them a few years ago when my grand mother died. I plan on posting all of them on a web site. Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew my father Joseph A Marino. I am also interested in finding out what News papers wrote articles on the battle. And which repoters were there. My father passed away in 1993. I had an article about a soldier that was draging himself off of the ice being asked if he needed help,and him saying n thanks I can manage get the guys that can't move. I have been in contact with both-Captain Busbey is mentioned in the book "This Kind of War".

Others I am looking for, who were in the 32nd Infantry Regiment, but in other Companies, are Walter S. Kuziara, Edward F. Kwiatkowski, Edward T. Lahr, Herbert Schafer, Melvin L. Kemmon, Brian F. Killen, Howard H. King, Theodore R. King, Karl K. Kramer, Jr., and Joseph M. Kraynick.

There will be a reunion of the 32nd Infantry Regiment Association, in August 2000, at Watertown, NY. We are anxious to find our friends/veterans, in hopes they can attend the reunion, join the Association, and renew old friendships.
