Comments: My dad served on the Midway in the early 1950's, I believe in the Boiler Room. He was from Emporia, KS. He would enjoy hearing from other shipmates, and especially looking for Philip Wylie Taylor.

Comments: I served onboard Midway from September 1977 until September 1979. I really hated Yokosuka but loved the old girl (MIDWAY). I have alot of great memories from that time, Subic Bay, Pusan, Perth Hong Kong, Thialand among a few more places. If anyone remembers MS2 Max C. Swain from S-2 division, but spent most of my time assigned to Shore Patrol, please contact me. Best wishes to all CV-41 shipmates Max

Reunion Group of former Radarman and Officers of the Combat Information
Center that served from 1962 to 1966. With my computer and the ability
to use it (retired Software Engineer) I have located 70 of the 142
members that served during that era.
We are dedicated to having Reunions, where we can all sit around talking
of old times (old times are always better than new ones), having a few
brews, telling a few sea stories and making up new ones if old ones
don't come to mind. At the present time we don't even collect dues, we
pass the hat when monies are needed.
I publish a 10/12 page newsletter every other month, with reunion info,
ex-shipmates found, pictures of the guys from Midway days(members have
found) and other items of interest.
We have a WEB Page at: http://home.earthlink.net/~phylo123/midway.htm
