My discharge was June 7. Rode over to France, immediatly transferred to the Canesteo tanker back to Norfolk. Discharged on April fools day! Made my last visit to the Red Rooster on Main St., Lewters Terrace, And the Thirtieth Div Club in Portsmith. Also remember the Savoy, not much but I do remember it.

To whom it might concern:
Reunion Group of former Radarman and Officers of the Combat Information
Center that served from 1962 to 1966. With my computer and the ability
to use it (retired Software Engineer) I have located 70 of the 142
members that served during that era.
We are dedicated to having Reunions, where we can all sit around talking
of old times (old times are always better than new ones), having a few
brews, telling a few sea stories and making up new ones if old ones
don't come to mind. At the present time we don't even collect dues, we
pass the hat when monies are needed.
I publish a 10/12 page newsletter every other month, with reunion info,
ex-shipmates found, pictures of the guys from Midway days(members have
found) and other items of interest.
We have a WEB Page at: http://home.earthlink.net/~phylo123/midway.htm
