Anyone remember Billy Ray Rayburn? |

David Rayburn wrote on 2000-05-13 19:00:35.0
Comments: My father has only a few momentos from his days on the Toledo. I wish I could remember the years better, but I believe he was aboard at least from 50-53. Anyway, if anyone remembers a Billy Ray Rayburn, I would simply love to relay any phone numbers his way (he now lives in Idaho). I keep looking for books or anything with photos of the ship. If anyone knows where I can get some, I'd love to surprise him with a gift. Hope this message gets out to someone in the know.
Thanks much!
Dave

My admiral left me on Toledo, went to Pusan, and I went all the way back to Yokosula on Toledo, where I got off. As I recalled I stayed in the junior officers bunk room, which wasn't too nice a place to put a flagbird JG-
