Comments: I left the Navy in 1957 then went back in and went through helicopter school and finished up my 20 years flying helicopters and in the research reserve. I worked in the research department at Bell Helicopter for 13 years and then started my own machine shop and built wind tunnel models for McDonnell Doughlas Helicopter until I retired.

Comments: Anyone around that served in VA-155 or VA-728 during Korea? I joined VA-728 in 1952 when they had AD-1's in Santa Rosa, CA. Went aboard the Princeton as VA-155 with AD-4's. Later aboard the Yorktown with AD-6's.

Out of the Navy June,1955.

Love to hear from you,

Ray Schafer
