Comments: My mother did not allow my father to talk about his time in Japan during the Korean War. All I know is he would have been there in the early 50's. I have found a service patch that says "22nd T.C.S." and has a picture of a gray donkey carrying a red pack on his back. I would love to learn more...

Comments: Looking for info on the above- my uncle, Joseph Roger Dukes, now deceased, was stationed at Tachikawa. He was a 'Sr. Career Guid Specialist', but not sure was that was! Was shipped to base from Camp Stoneman on the USNS Gen HASE. He recalled on several occasions about a bomber crash which occurred while he was there, and also when one of the last bomber missions flew off for the last time. I know he worked in the office and not on the field. But that is about it. Would like to get an idea of what the base was like, etc. I have a photo of him with the following men on base (raising their glasses at 'Tinkle's Stag party, 09-03-1953) - David J Sutherland, George F Newman, John Cobb, Quentin Begeal(?), Milton McEwen, Bill Libertus, Bob Borks, Bill Tinkle, Dale Boatright. Anyone wanting copies, let me know. Thank you kindly.
