Keywords: My father spent nearly 48 years trying to receive his disabilty/severence pay that was promised upon discharge. He was told that his approx $33 per month of disability/severence pay would go in to a savings acct. He always thought that it would be a savings program that he could later access for his future children for college. My father passed away 5/18/2002 and was yet to receive one penny of severence/disability pay. He suffered frostbrite at the Chosein Resevoire and also years and years of pain and suffering to his feet. He was told his records were distroyed in a fire and that his request were at a dead end. He always felt that the govt. was hoping that the soldiers like him would eventually die off and end the issue. Is there anyone else out there that can help me?
