Comments: Looking for anyone who served with me during this time. Memory not to good with names but certainly remember battles. Love to talk. I was seriously burned during an AmphTrac explosion in Inchon, then sent to the hospital ship. Doctors say this may have caused my problems. Although I have many scars all over my body and serious vascular problems for many years, VA says no proof because no records were documented. Imjin,Liberty Bridge,Inchon

Comments: I drove our Amptrac at the Inchon invasion. I'm looking for my crew members. On the first day of the invasion on a while transporting troops tward Inchon on a road, we recieved enemy fire from a concrete building.

We turned the tractor tward the building, dropped the ramp and let the troops off. We gave them covering fire with our 50 cal. guns while they took the bldg.

If you remember that, we were probably on the same tractor.

Please contact me.

I spent about nine months on the Imjin River banks and MLR with the
1stAmTracBn, 1952-1953. I was a squad leader in charge of a hill. We
were "dismounted" and made defensive machine gun companies along the
river, north of Seoul.

The LVTs were of little use after Inchon. I also played on the division
special service show, "Hillbilly Hayride," in case any of you saw it.
