Comments: I'm just looking for info, and friends, on/of my Father In-Law. His name is Donn Edward Wagner and he was a medic, HM2, for a 4.5 Rocket Battery. All I know is he was in Korea, in the 1st MARDIV, was wounded himself, and was a very active Life Member of the 1st MARDIV Association.
He passed away recently and I'm working on a dedication about him for his wife. I could get more specific info from her, but I'm hoping to make it a surprise. If anyone can give me more specific information about him I would greatly apreaciate it.
If I can place the specific unit, and find formers members of same, I have a extensive amount of photos he took while in Korea I would like to share. Hundreds of photos of the men, equipment, and operations of the Battery.
I know he was pretty active in the specific unit association as well, from articles and reunion photos he had, anybody?

Comments: I'm looking for information about my father, Richard 'Dick' Cavanaugh, who died when I was a kid in 1974. I found an article about him that said he was in the "1st 4.5 Rocket Battalion". I'm unfamiliar with the nomenclature, however, and would greatly appreciate any information about how to find out more about him, his unit, service record, etc.
