Comments: Good day my fellow Marines and Semper Fi. I am conducting a family geneological history, and am taking this opportunity to research my uncle's role in the Korean, and/or WWII pacific campaigns. Internet hits suggest that he was CO for E/2/7 (perhaps temporary) at some time. As a Marine myself, I would invite anyone to contact me with information on him through recollections, etc. Chosin Marines, it goes without saying, carry the higest respect of us all. I've kept up the USMC tradition as a member from 1984 - 1992. I hope to hear. Semper Fi, my brothers. Herman Vanderwart III.
