Comments: I served as an electrician at K3 from January to December 1952. I have been in touch with Florian Kurcab who went to school with me at Courthouse Bay, Camp LeJeune and served in the same outfit. I also have the address of Milton Hill who served at K3 in 1953. I would especially like to get in touch with Chris "Moose" Landers from Long Island. Semper Fi

Hal,
I am trying to get any information about missing US Marine flyers that
may have been taken to Siberia. My father was shot down July 15, 1952
0315.
He is Master Sgt. Robert L Kappelmann #836776 and flew with Marine All
Weather Sqd 513, Marine Aircraft Group 33: 1st Marine Aircrft Wing FMF.
I have gone through most normal channels and even attended the MIA
hearing on the day set aside for Korean MIAs/POWs. Aside from learning
there was likely several boxcars of USA flyers sent to Siberria, I learn
little else.
If you can provide any information or suggest groups that might be
helpful I would appreciated it.
My Email address maybe changing to
kapprl@jea.ci.jax.fl.us
Sincerely,
Bob Kappelmann

patch of the 33rd and a patch of Mr. William's Squadron? Appreciate
